Sheryl Axelrod founded the Temple Law Alumni Association (TLAA) Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) and the TLAA Diversity Committee, during her term as President of TLAA, and co-chaired the TLAA WLI from its inception in 2012 to 2015. As such, The Axelrod Firm was proud to sponsor the TLAA WLI’s Spring Event in loving memory of Sheryl’s friend and TLAA WLI colleague, Amber Racine. Sheryl’s friendship with Amber inspired Sheryl to join The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Inc. in 2013. Amber was the President-Elect of the organization at the time, and Sheryl became the organization’s first non-Black member.
The family friendly TLAA WLI Spring Event in Amber’s honor took Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the Elmwood Park Zoo. Thank you to the TLAA WLI’s fabulous Co-Chairs, Amanda J. Davidson and Sabrina Sacks Mann , for organizing this wonderful event.
