Sheryl Axelrod presented at the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, and the ABA Young Lawyers Division’s GOOD Guys and Men in the Mix: Young Lawyers Edition program on August 12, 2021. After introductory remarks by Teresa Beck, Sheryl presented on, “Young Lawyers Braving and Deconstructing Bias: The Rewards of Equity, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.” Her address explored how young lawyers can disrupt bias and level the playing field to advance women lawyers and lawyers from historically underrepresented groups and in the process, enrich the legal profession and our country.
Sheryl’s remarks set the stage for the GOOD Guys panel of up-and-coming young male leaders featuring: Jerome Crawford, Ray Panneton, Aaron Sahoski, and Judge Peter M. Reyes Jr., which was moderated by Deputy General Counsel Choi Portis.
