What people have the capacity to choose, they have the ability to change
Madeleine Albright
At The Axelrod Firm, we believe in contributing to the community we serve and being the change we wish to see. We have devoted countless hours to serving the community, including by heading volunteer organizations and groups within them. For instance, Ms. Axelrod served as President of the Temple Law Alumni Association (TLAA), and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), previously served as Co-Chair of the NAMWOLF Advocacy Committee, currently serves as Co-Chair of the NAMWOLF ADR Committee, and served as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of the Diversity Law Institute (DLI).
These organizations honored attorneys at The Axelrod Firm for their work. Ms. Axelrod was awarded the TLAA Distinguished Service Award, the TLAA Women’s Champion Award, and the NAMWOLF Yolanda Coly Advocacy Award, and The Axelrod Firm was awarded the Diversity Law Institute Award.
A summary of her community service work and that of all The Axelrod Firm’s lawyers follows below.
