Sheryl Served as Moderator for a Panel During The Forum of Executive Women’s Leadership Symposium, “Leveraging Our Positions to Disrupt Bias and Build More Equitable Pathways to Success”
On September, 16, 2020, Sheryl Axelrod of The Axelrod Firm moderated an exceptional group of panelists in the Plenary Session she organized for The Forum of Executive Women‘s #LeadershipSymposium entitled, “Leveraging Our Positions to Disrupt Bias and Build More Equitable Pathways to Success:” Kisha Hortman Hawthorne, Ph.D., Eileen M. Letts, and Melissa Pang. These distinguished panelists powerfully explained how two or more biases work in concert upon each other (intersectionality), what it’s like to face two or more biases, how companies stand to benefit from minimizing bias, and what companies can do to actually do so – what works.
The Forum is a membership organization of the most influential women in the Greater Philadelphia Area. The Axelrod Firm is confident there were women in the audience who are going to use the tools the panelists provided, to help move the needle forward in favor of greater equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion and that will benefit us all.
Thank you again to Kelley H. for assisting us behind the scenes.
