Speaking To Women In The Profession On How To Effectively Respond To The Obstreperous (Meaning Bullying Or Unethical) Lawyer

Sheryl Axelrod, two judges, The Honorable Marlene F. Lachman and The Honorable Frederica Massiah-Jackson, and fellow lawyer, Heidi Villari, spoke to the Philadelphia Bar Association Women in the Profession Committee on “How To Effectively Deal With The Obstreperous Lawyer.” In this context, the word “obstreperous” means a bullying and/or unethical lawyer although if you listen to the podcast, Sheryl provides a more complete definition. The Axelrod Firm wishes to thank Sheryl’s fellow panelists and the event moderator, Kathy Kirkpatrick of the Tucker Law Group (a fellow NAMWOLF member), who did a fantastic job designing the event, and crafting thought-provoking questions. It was a pleasure working with her. Thanks also to Lauren McKenna and Emily Marks, Co-Chairs of the Women in the Profession, for their stellar leadership and programming.
