“Banking on Diversity: Diversity and Inclusion as Profit Drivers-The Business Case for Diversity”

In June 2014, the American Bar Association (ABA) published Axelrod Firm President Sheryl Axelrod’s piece, “Banking on Diversity: Diversity and Inclusion as Profit Drivers – The Business Case for Diversity.” Listed as the No. 2 top resource by the ABA, Sheryl culls and explains the studies that examine how companies with greater diversity at the top perform as compared to their less diverse (more homogeneous) counterparts. The studies show that organizations in general, and law firms in particular, that are more diverse across racial, gender, and other metrics, are far more profitable. She provides those interested in the business case for diversity with the data. Diversity represents an enormous financial competitive advantage.
