At The Axelrod Firm, we believe in contributing to the community we serve and being the change we wish to see.  Partners Sheryl Axelrod and Lisa Savitt have devoted countless hours to serving the community, including by heading volunteer organizations and groups within them.  For instance, Ms. Axelrod served as President of the Temple Law Alumni Association (TLAA), and has been serving for years as Co-Chair of the Advocacy Committee of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and of the Advisory Board of the Diversity Law Institute (DLI), and Ms. Savitt chaired the over 20,000 members strong American Bar Association (ABA) Section of International Law and Co-Chairs the NAMWOLF International Law Practice Area Committee.

These organizations honored them for their work.  Ms. Axelrod was awarded the TLAA Distinguished Service Award, the TLAA Women’s Champion Award, and the NAMWOLF Yolanda Coly Advocacy Award, Ms. Savitt was awarded the ABA Section of International Law Mayre Rasmussen Award, and The Axelrod Firm was awarded the Diversity Law Institute Award.
